Welcome to experience Ystegårn, the eastern farm in Hillsta village in Forsa. A four-built farmhouse with a courtyard in the middle that got its current appearance in the 19th century. Today there are about 11 different businesses.

And lots of activities! How about summer music evenings with amazing artists, Christmas market or halloween and much more. For the children there is a play area with playhouses and a climbing track (No. 8), and during the summer Ystegården has farmer’s Mondays, where children and even parents can learn about life in the countryside with all the animals. There are chickens and rabbits and other animals on the farm.

In summer you can cycle or walk along the trails and in winter Ystegårn has the nice Trogsta Skiing Trail right around the corner.

How about a bite to eat or a coffee at Ystegårens cafe and bistro (No 7) in the homely atmosphere with high quality food and taste. Or stay overnight at the bed and breakfast (no. 5).

You might want to visit one or more of the shops at Ystegårn. We start with Butik Portlidret (No. 1) where you can find creations of 25 craftsmen, many of whom come from Hälsingland.

Ystegubben (No. 2) has a flair for aesthetics and antique things. Here you find odd things.

Fynda med Frida (Finding things with Frida) (no. 4) is a trust shop with beautiful porcelain items and more.

Hälsingehusdetaljer (No 3) has everything you need for old style windows.

At Tillitsbutiken (a trust shop) (No. 10) several entrepreneurs meet at Ystegårn. Hillstabacken sells locally produced eggs, sheepskin and meat, At Paradisdalen you find must and raspberries and during the summer you can book self-picking raspberries at Paradisdalen and if you have a lot of apples they can help you make must. Also Hälsingesåpa (No. 12) and Forsa gårdsmejeri (Forsa farm dairy) (No. 11) have their products there.

Ystegårn in Hillsta (No. 6) has guided tours of the museum at certain times and days during the summer months where you can see and experience life on a farm in Hälsingland. If you wish to visit the museum at other times please book in advance.

Ystegårn has two businesses that do not receive visitors due to hygienic reasons: Forsa Gårdsmejeri and Hälsingesåpa but you can buy their products at Tillitsbutiken.

We wish you a pleasant day with us at Ystegårn!

PS If you want to know more about the area around Forsa and Hälsingland, do not hesitate to contact Barbros Hälsingeguidning.
